Fruit Loaf
Ingredients
- 150 ml Lukewarm water
- 120 ml Milk
- 2 Tbsp Olive oil
- 450 g Strong white bread flour
- 7 g Fast action dried yeast
- 10 g Salt
- 3 tsp Ground mixed spice
- 2 Tbsp Brown sugar
- Solid Ingredients
- ½ cup Mixed dried fruit or your own choice of currants, sultanas, raisins, cranberries if you choose
- Glaze
- 3 Tbsp Water
- 6 tsp Sugar
Instructions
- Put the wet ingredients into the bread machine and then the dry ingredients into the bread machine pan as in the General Guide for your bread machine
- Set the machine on the standard white setting and press start
- Put the dried fruit in the dry ingredients dispenser or alternively set a timer for 25 minutes and then add the solid ingredients to the bread pan
- Mix the ingredients for the glaze.
- When the bake has finished, put the loaf on the cooling tray and brush the glaze on to the top of the loaf while it is still hot
