Hummus

This dish is very simple. It takes just minutes and is tastier than shop bought.

Equipment

  • Food Processor, Blender or Stick blender.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 4 Tbsp Tahini
  • ΒΌ tsp salt
  • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • High Quality Olive Oil for serving.

Instructions
 

  • Drain the tin of chickpeas but keep the liquid in a cup in case if needed.
  • Add all the ingredients and blend until all ingredients are smoothly combined.
  • If the consistency is too thick then add some of the chickpeak liquid and blend some more.
  • Empty the mixture into a wide bowl and smooth over. Pour a small amount of high quality oil around the edge of the hummus bowl.
  • Serve with Middle Eastern Flatbread
