Ciabatta pizza (air fryer)
also can be made with baguette or focaccia
- 1 ciabatta
- 120 ml passata
- 40 g mozzarella
- 40 g grated cheese Emmenthal or mild Cheddar
- black pepper to taste
Choice of toppings
- pepperoni, chorizo, bacon pieces, diced ham
- red pepper, sliced onion, sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms, black olives halved etc.
Pre-heat air fryer to 182ºC
Cut ciabatta to fit the width of your air fryer. Slice in half lengthwise. Then cut into portions for each person if making smaller pieces for children.
Lightly spray both sides. Place in air fryer basket/tray with the crust side upwards (only cook in a single layer – cook the pizzas in batches if needed). Air Fry at 182°C for 2 minutes.
Turn the ciabatta over and add sauce and toppings.
Air Fry at 182°C for 2-4 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted. Air fry for about 2 minutes first. If you want the top to be crispier, cook for a minute or two longer.
