Filled Dates

Ingredients
  

  • Medjool dates fresh as possible
  • Marzipan recipe below
  • Nuts such as pistachio slices, walnuts, blanched almonds

Instructions
 

  • Cut the date, without going all the way through, to take out the stone.
  • Roll some of the marzipan in your hands into a pencil thin sausage. Break off a little and place where the stone had been and press slightly. Close the date back up so that a line of marzipan is visible. Add a nut piece for decoration
